Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. (to which we will refer as “Konami”) is a company based in 1-11-1, Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, 104-0061 Japan. Konami is a subsidiary of KONAMI GROUP CORPORATION, the parent company of the Konami Group, on behalf of whose companies this privacy notice is issued.
Konami and the Konami Group companies offer you various online services. The way in which we use your personal data when you use our services is very important for us. Konami and the Konami Group companies uses your data as described below.

1. Our use of your personal data

As is true of most other websites, Konami’s website collects certain non-personally identifiable information. The information may include internet protocol (IP) addresses (the “IP address”), the region or general location where your computer or device is accessing the internet, browser type, operating system and other usage information about the use of Konami’s website, including a history of the pages you view. We use this information to help us design our site to better suit our users’ needs. Konami uses the services provided by Google Inc., “Google Analytics” and “Google Analytics 360” (collectively, “Google Analytics”), and retains the personal data collected in the Google Analytics for the retention period adopted in the Google Analytics.

In certain situations, we might need your approval to collect your personal data. In these cases, you can always tell us that you do not want us to have your personal data. Then we will erase your personal data, but until then we use the data for the purposes which we explained above.

Konami may on its own, or with the help of third party analytics tools, collect non-personally identifiable information concerning your and other users’ behaviours and use of our services. Konami collects such information to better adapt our services to users’ interests and for a better quality of our services. 3. Transfers of data to other countries

Konami and the Konami Group companies may send your personal data to other companies outside your country. You have the following rights that you can use with Konami or the Konami Group companies.

  • Access to personal data: You have the right to access your personal data that the Konami Group is using.
  • Correction or deletion of personal data: You have the right to ask the Konami Group to correct or complete your personal data if it is wrong or incomplete. You may also have the right to ask the Konami Group to delete your personal data, when certain conditions apply.
  • Restriction on processing of personal data: You may have the right to ask the Konami Group to restrict the use of your personal data, when certain conditions apply.
  • Object to processing of personal data: You may have the right to object to the use of your personal data by the Konami Group, when certain conditions apply.
  • Portability of personal data: You may have the right to receive your personal data in a structured and commonly used format so you can use this data with another company, when certain conditions apply.

Furthermore, when your personal data is sent by the Konami Group from the EEA to a country outside the EEA, you can request from us a copy of the Standard Contracts that we have used to send your data.
