Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd., a company duly incorporated under Japanese law, with its headquarters at 1-11-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 104-0061 Japan (“Konami”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) appreciates your interest in Konami’s Event(s) (as defined below) as part of the eSports tournament known as “Coppa eFootball Italia” (the “Tournament”).
By clicking the “agree” button, you confirm that you have thoroughly reviewed and agree to comply with these terms and conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not participate in the Event(s).
1.1 The Events shall take place within “eFootball™ ” (the “Game”) and shall consist of three rounds, as follows:
(a) “Round 1 - In-game Challenge Event”;
(b) “Round 2 - In-game Golden Goal Event”; and
(c) “Round 3 - In-game Ranking Event”
(each an “Event”, and together the “Events”).
1.2 If you qualify for further participation in the Tournament after Round 3 – In-game Ranking Event, we will contact you to ask if you would like to participate in “Round 4” and, if you qualify from Round 4, in the “Coppa eFootball Italia Finals” (“Coppa Finals”) which are operated and controlled by ProGaming Italia SRL (“PGI”). If you decide to participate in Round 4 and, if you qualify, the Coppa Finals, you agree that your participation in Round 4 and, if applicable, the Coppa Finals, will be subject to the terms and conditions between you and PGI and other applicable documents, such as PGI’s privacy notice as provided to you. Konami is not responsible or liable to you in any way for your participation in Round 4 or the Coppa Finals of the Tournament.
1.3 Each Event consists of two categories, Mobile Category and Console Category. The Console Category shall be on “PlayStation®”.
1.4 The winner of the Coppa Finals will qualify for the participation in “eFootball™ Championship Open 2025 Regional Finals” (“Regional Finals”), which is the event to select participants for the “eFootball™ Championship 2025 World Finals” (“World Finals”) held by Konami. 1.5 For the avoidance of doubt, these Terms only apply to your participation in Events relating to the Tournament, i.e., Round 1 – In-game Challenge Event, Round 2 – In-game Golden Goal Event Ranking Event and Round 3 In-game Ranking Event. Further details of the Events and the Tournament are available at: https://coppaefootball.konami.com/.
2.1 To participate in the Events you must:
(a) own your own Game account to participate in the Event(s);
(b) agree to the “Terms of Use” that apply to your use of the Game (“Game Terms”);
(c) you must own “KONAMI ID” (available at https://my.konami.net/) and your KONAMI ID must be linked to your Game account;
(d) be able to log-in to your Game account and KONAMI ID;
(e) be a resident in Italy;
(f) be over 18 years of age at the time you agree to these Terms;
(g) not be an employee of Konami (or any of its group companies), or family members, agents, or any third party directly associated with the Events or the Tournament; and
(h) you must not be a player who have created any content that is subject to any restriction by the game platform providers, i.e., your username of the Game must not be [*user].
2.2 To advance to Round 4:
(a) we must be able to contact you either directly, or through PGI. This requires you to be able to use “Discord”, an online messaging application, or any other method of communication designated by Konami from time to time; and
(b) if you are participating in Console Category, you must possess a PlayStation® and be able to use it for Round 4
2.3 In order to advance to the Regional Finals or World Finals, as applicable:
(a) you will be required to enter into a separate agreement(s) with us, including but not limited to, for:
(1) your grant of license to us and applicable partners and third parties to photograph and record your portrait and voice in connection with the Regional Finals or World Finals (as applicable), and to use such photographed and recorded portrait and voice (including but not limited to, distributing images, video footage and other audio-visual material relating to the Tournament, the Regional Finals or World Finals (as applicable));
(2) your cooperation with our promotional activities related to eFootball™ series;
(3) your obligation to participate in the Regional Finals or appear at the venue of the World Finals by the date separately specified by us, provided that the long-distance travel and accommodations and the fees thereof will be arranged and borne by us; and
(4) obtain any necessary visa (for example, where World Finals would be held in Japan, working visa issued by Japan) at your own expense by the date separately specified by us,
(b) you must not be the winner of an event, including but limited to Club Finals, which has already qualified you for Regional Finals” and/or World Finals held by Konami; and
(c) depending on which category you participate in, you will be required to comply with the following:
(1) In participating in Mobile Category, you must use a mobile device with our required level of performance, which shall be separately specified by us.
(2) In participating in Console Category, you must possess a PlayStation® and be able to use it for the Regional Finals.
(d) if the World Finals will be held offline, you must be able to submit your valid passport information to us or such service provider(s) of Konami when requested without delay and you shall ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 (six) months after the end of the Coppa Finals.
The details of the foregoing will be further set forth in the agreement(s) for the Regional Finals or World Finals, as applicable.
2.4 Notwithstanding the requirements in this Sections 2, your advancement to Round 2, Round 3, Round 4, the Regional Finals, or the World Finals, is not automatic and shall be determined at Konami’s sole discretion.
3.1 For Round 1 to Round 3 Events, in order to advance to next round, you must complete the conditions set out in the in-Game Events.
3.2 If you are ranked in the top thirty-two (32) participants of Round 3 – In-game Ranking Event, Konami will contact you, via an in-Game message, to offer you the opportunity to register for, and participate in, Round 4. As described above in clause 1.2, PGI is the operator of Round 4 and the Finals of the Tournament and your participation in these events is subject to the terms and conditions between you and PGI and other applicable documents, such as PGI’s privacy notice provided to you.
3.3 Konami may impose other requirements to the participants of the Event(s), including you, from time to time at Konami’s sole discretion.
3.4 We may decide not to advance you to Round 3, and/or invite you to register for, or participate in, Round 4, if we determine, at Konami’s sole discretion, that you are not eligible or have breached any of the conditions specified in these Terms.
4.1 In addition to other terms and conditions of these Terms, your participation in the Event(s) is conditioned upon your compliance with rules of conduct set forth in this section. If you fail to comply with such rules, or if we reasonably determine that you may result in such a failure, we may terminate your right to participate in the Event(s) or disqualify you.
4.2 You agree that you shall not:
(a) provide us with any false information;
(b) publicly disclose any false information on the Event(s) or the Tournament;
(c) defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights of Konami or any third party, including without limitation intellectual property rights and rights of privacy or publicity;
(d) conduct any activities: (i) for the purposes of achieving monetary gain of any kind in relation to the Event(s) or the Tournament; or (ii) that is against the law and/or public policy.
(e) conduct any activities that is not in compliance with any terms, conditions, regulations and/or any other rules that we impose in relation to your use of the Game and/or participation in the Events, including but not limited to, the Game Terms and these Terms. Such activities include the following:
(1) Sharing your KonamiID account or Game account with any third party or letting any third party use your KonamiID or Game account.
(2) Intentionally or negligently causing any earlier termination of the Game match.
(3) Attempting to gain for yourself or any third party any unfair advantage with respect to the use of the Game or participation in the Event(s);
(f) conduct any other activities that may in any way restrict, inhibit, or interfere with, the operation of the Events or the Tournament.
4.3 You agree that you shall follow our instructions at all times.
5.1 Konami reserves the right to disqualify you and refuse your participation in the Event(s), even in the middle of an Event, in the case where you:
(a) violate these Terms;
(b) fail to meet the requirements set forth in Section 2;
(c) have conducted any activities set forth in Section 4 in advance of your participation in an Event, and Konami reasonably determines it is difficult to establish credibility between you and Konami, considering seriousness of such conduct; or
(d) Konami reasonably determines that you are inappropriate as a participant in the Event.
5.2 In determining whether or not you fall under Section 5.1 above, Konami will take into account not only your conduct and its outcomes, but also the interests of the sponsors etcetera.
5.3 Any participant who is disqualified pursuant to this Section 5 (“Disqualified Participant”) will not be entitled to receive any form of benefit, rights, or interests in connection with the Event(s). In addition, Konami may not accept participation of the Disqualified Participant in future events, championships, tournaments and other activities of Konami.
6.1 To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Konami makes no guarantees or warranties of any kind, express or implied, regarding the Events or the Tournament. Your participation in the Event(s) or the Tournament is at your own risk and Konami is not responsible for any matters, including but not limited to the following:
(a) The Events or Tournament may be changed, temporarily suspended, or terminated, with or without notice, at Konami’s sole discretion.
(b) Any disadvantages caused to you (including disqualification) by interruption, errors, defects or any other difficulties in using the software or the server of the Game, any devices, applications, networks or any other tools etc. that you use in relation to the Events.
(c) Any disputes arising among you and any third party, including PGI, including but not limited to, other participants of the Events, provided that there is no intentional or grossly negligent act carried out by Konami.
6.2 TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NEITHER KONAMI NOR ANY OF ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SUPPLIERS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, ADVERTISERS, SPONSORS, OR AGENTS, NOR ANY SUBSIDIARIES, AFFILIATED ENTITIES, OWNERS, SHAREHOLDERS, GENERAL AND LIMITED PARTNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS OR EMPLOYEES OF ANY OF THE FOREGOING ENTITIES SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR ANY DAMAGES RELATING TO LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR LOSS OF DATA, WHETHER IN AN ACTION IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE) OR OTHERWISE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE EVENT(S), THE TOURNAMENT, OR ANY OTHER SUBJECT MATTER OF THESE TERMS.
7.1 Please note that your personal data (“Personal Data”) will be collected and processed in accordance with the privacy policies/notices specified below:
(a) In respect of your participation in the Events within the Game, your Personal Data will be processed in accordance with the privacy policy presented to you in the Game, available at:

(b) In respect of your participation in Round 3 and, if applicable, the Finals your Personal Data will be processed in accordance with the privacy notice of PGI, as provided to you by PGI.
7.2 For the purposes of administering the Events, your participation in the Events, or advancement to Round 4, Regional Finals or World Finals (as applicable), it may be necessary for Konami to share your personal data with PGI or by PGI with Konami. In each case the sharing of your personal data will be carried out in accordance with the privacy policies specified above or as may be notified to you by Konami or PGI.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, that provision will be deemed severable from these Terms and will not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining provision.
These Terms are governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Japan without giving effect to any choice of legal rule that would cause application of laws of any jurisdiction other than Japan.
All disputes and controversies arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved exclusively by Tokyo District Court, and you hereto agree to submit to the jurisdiction of said court and agree that the venue shall lie exclusively with such courts.
These Terms have been prepared in, and shall be construed in, the English language. Translated versions have been prepared for the convenience of users whose mother language is the relevant translation language; if there is any discrepancy in the meaning or interpretation between the English version and any translated version of the Terms, the meaning and interpretation of the Terms prepared in English shall prevail.
